An abandoned pool looks hopeless: black water, a floor you can’t see, equipment that hasn’t run in a year. But most of them come back — the shell and plumbing are usually tougher than the water suggests. We restore neglected pools across Sarasota, from swamp to swimmable, and tell you upfront what’s salvageable. Call (941) 555-0142.
Restoration is the answer when neglect has compounded: water gone black, equipment seized or missing, baskets and lines packed with debris, wildlife moved in. It’s the common state of foreclosure purchases, inherited properties, and rentals between long tenancies. The pool also becomes a liability while it waits — mosquito breeding, code violations, and a hazard fenced or not. The good news: restoration is almost always dramatically cheaper than filling in or rebuilding.
We start with an assessment: shell, equipment, plumbing, and water, with photos, so you get a full picture and a plan with a price before anything begins.
Restoration typically means removing debris, draining safely if the water is past treating, pressure-washing the shell, repairing or replacing what the equipment pad needs, refilling, and running a full startup.
Some pools recover with heavy treatment instead of draining — we price both paths where both are viable.
You watch the whole thing happen in photos.
Every restoration is different, so we price from an assessment — free from photos for a ballpark, exact after we walk the property. The quote comes in writing, itemized, with the equipment work separated from the cleanup so you can phase it if you want. You approve every number before work starts.
