When to Suspect a Pool Leak

Evaporation in our climate runs roughly a quarter inch a day; loss beyond that needs an explanation. Watch for soggy spots in the yard, cracks in the deck, air in the pump basket, or chemistry that won’t hold because fresh fill water keeps diluting it.
